Joe Lougheed

I provide practical advice to entrepreneurs and startup companies regarding their structure, financing and operations. Leveraging my strong business and community links to Alberta’s startup ecosystem, I act as a conduit connecting startups and founders to customers, investors and business partners.

I am the Regional Lead for our Venture Tech team in Calgary, where I also advise on general corporate law, private equity, private M&A and corporate governance. I serve on the boards of various private companies and trusts.

An active community volunteer for many years, I am the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Governors of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and Past Chair of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. I am currently the Honorary Consul for the Government of Sweden in Southern Alberta.
