Danika Kotylak

I am a corporate and venture technology lawyer that assists a wide range of clients in both the public and private sector. I love working with passionate entrepreneurs from incorporation through exit. Being able to watch a company grow from a founder’s dream to a thriving business is one of the many reasons I love being a part of this team. Founders’ enthusiasm for their inventions and evolving business models is palpable and invigorates my own practice. I support companies in navigating a number of matters including company formation, commercial contracts, financings, and corporate governance.

When I’m not in front of my computer I like to be out in the sunshine (or as Vancouver would have it, pouring rain) hiking, camping in the back country, skiing or relaxing on a beach. I’m a lifelong fan of competitive sports – though you will no longer find me in the pool competing for the Canadian Water Polo National Team, you can still catch me playing rec-league dodgeball with my friends or spikeball in a park.
