Brandan Ignazzitto

I am a corporate lawyer, focusing on startup and emerging growth companies. I take joy in helping founders, shareholders and investors turn their innovative ideas into a viable businesses. Having started my own business while I was in high school, I appreciate the challenges that new and growing companies face. I pride myself on providing practical and detail-oriented legal advice, always keeping the client’s business goals in mind.

My practice focuses on helping start-ups and emerging growth companies from formation through to exit – and everything in between. Specifically, I assist clients with corporate governance, corporate finance, securities and M&A. In addition, I also help investors and shareholders with their investments in start-ups and emerging growth companies.

When I’m not helping VTEGC clients, I’m probably listening to sports podcasts, “managing” my perpetually underperforming fantasy teams, or watching hockey and football games. I enjoy everything about live sporting events, all the way down to the stadium architecture. I love seeing first-hand how stadiums are designed to optimized the fan experience – it’s a goal of mine to watch a game at every major stadium in North America. In the meantime, I’ll be looking for my ball at various golf courses around Ottawa…
