Allison Jetton

My practice focuses on cybersecurity and privacy counseling, investigations, and risk management. I love helping clients strategically manage risks associated with data and technology, including during a crisis. Some of my best work is confidential! I’ve helped clients build global, enterprise-wide information governance programs; guided startups’ early investments into cybersecurity compliance measures and advised boards regarding their fiduciary duties related to cybersecurity risk governance among other engagements.

Away from the office I love helping others understand cybersecurity law, technology, and policy. There wasn’t a cybersecurity law course offered in my JD or LLM program, but it’s one of the courses I now teach at Georgetown Law as an adjunct professor. My students benefit from the real-world lessons I’ve learned helping my clients in government and the private sector.
